This post is the honest inventory: what actually works, what is still rough, and who should wait.
What we set out to build
Roleplay communities do not have a software problem. They have an integration problem.
The CAD is one vendor. The ticket bot is another. The website is a builder that has never heard of FiveM. The whitelist form is a Google Doc. None of them know your ranks, none of them share your roles, and every one of them has its own bill and its own login.
Sovura is one platform where those are modules of the same product. Enable one and it is already wired into your roles, your webhooks, and your community site.
What is built today
Eight modules, all shipping:
- Community Site. A block-based public site on your own domain. Always on, every plan.
- Applications. Drag-and-drop forms with multi-step pages, internal staff notes, and Discord triggers.
- Helpdesk. Ticketing with SLAs, canned responses, agent presence, and satisfaction ratings.
- Departments. Structure, roster, ranks, callsigns, training records.
- CAD / MDT. Computer-aided dispatch and a mobile data terminal — units, duty sessions, calls, warrants, BOLOs, citations, civilians and vehicles. Fire and EMS run as first-class departments, not a police reskin.
- CDN. Media storage and delivery for your community’s assets.
- Tebex Store. Connect a Tebex Headless storefront to your site.
- Cargo CDN. Content-addressed asset delivery for FiveM servers — caching built into the platform instead of a separate box you maintain.
Underneath all of it: a real role hierarchy with scoped capabilities, outbound webhooks with replayable delivery logs, and an audit log.
What is still rough
It would be easy to stop at the list above. Here is the other half.
- We are pre-alpha. There is no SLA yet. Things will break, and some of them will break on a Saturday night.
- The game-to-CAD bridge is manual for v1. Position streaming into the live map works. Two-way sync with ESX or QBCore is not a shipped adapter yet.
- Some modules are deeper than others. CAD and Departments are the most built-out. Others are solid but younger.
- Migration tooling is thin. If you are coming off another CAD with years of records, talk to us rather than assuming a one-click import.
We would rather you arrive knowing this than find out in week two.
What we have decided not to do
A few things we have deliberately committed to, because they are the ones that hurt communities most:
- Public pricing. $10, $29, $69. On the page, not behind a checkout.
- No free tier, no fake trial. A real 14-day trial of every module, no card. If it does not fit, you have lost nothing.
- A written continuity policy. If we ever shut down, you get six months’ notice, a full export, and either a successor operator or the source. It is in writing, not a promise in a Discord message.
- Your data stays yours. Export it any time, while your account is live.
Who should join now
Pre-alpha suits you if you run a community that is actively growing, you are already paying for three or four disconnected tools, and you would rather shape a platform than inherit one.
It does not suit you if you need guaranteed uptime this month, or if your community would be badly hurt by a bad hour.
Founding Membership
The first hundred communities can take a Founding Membership: one payment, Pro for as long as Sovura runs. It exists because early communities take a real risk on us, and that should be worth something permanent.
